In the first overseas outpost of coffee shop Omotesando Koffee’s sibling brand, and located just behind the former’s own K11 store, Koffee Mameya is a haven for coffee junkies looking to improve the coffee brewing experience at home.
With a small army of experienced sommeliers on hand to offer one-on-one coffee consultancy, Koffee Mameya boasts an impressive coffee menu that features up to 25 seasonal selections at any one time, all sourced from acclaimed roasteries from around the world. The selection of coffee beans, the majority of which are single-origin, is thoughtfully curated to ensure guests can experience a wide spectrum of beans roasted to varying degrees. Simply trace your fingers down the flavour matrix, which ranks beans from light to dark roast, and on mouth-feel, to find a bean that speaks to you.
Once you’ve found your desired beans, the staff will conduct the brewing ceremony, during which they will explain the bean’s origins and recommend the best extraction method. There is also a selection of coffee machines and brewing methods available for purchase. Once you’re satisfied, your chosen beans will be bundled up for your home enjoyment, complete with tasting notes.
